If we could do a flypast on any part of the world that is significant to you, which place, city or country would it be and why?
Haiti
Q2: Life
Give us a glimpse into your life story so far with an emphasis on what you are doing currently?
2005 was the year of the Make Poverty History campaign, a movement to declare that we could be the first generation to end extreme poverty. I was at University at the time, and it got me excited. A trip to Haiti soon after uncovered some of the injustices particularly the experience of going to one of the government, public hospitals and witnessing a girl who died just from a lack of basic materials. Medical staff talked about an empty field and a dream to build a new hospital so that children can get access to better and more dignified care. Today that empty field is now a 100 bed hospital, supporting over 330 staff and In recent years we have taken our experience of Haiti into other countries under Hope Health Action.
